August 2024 Konnect rail gave me my first opportunity into the rail industry and since then I haven’t looked back.

Minimum Requirements to Join the Konnect Crew

At Konnect Rail, we’re committed to safety, quality, and RIPPING IN!!

To be part of our high-performing team, the following are mandatory:

  • REQUIREMENTS:

    • Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card

    • NO minimum years of experience in the rail industry required whether you're just starting your journey or have years' experience in the industry, Konnect Rail is here to support you every step of the way!

    • White Card – WHS Construction Induction

    • Certificate II in rail infrastructure

    • Current Rail Welding Certificates (for welding roles on both ARTC and QR networks)

    • QR - WET and SARC qualifications, not mandatory but preferred

    • CAT 1 or CAT 3 Rail Medical

    • Valid Driver’s Licence and/or Reliable Transport

    • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment Rail Medical, including drug & alcohol testing

    • Demonstrated commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork

    • A strong work ethic, a great attitude, and the ability to fit in with our well-trained, committed crew — we’re all about good vibes, positive energy, and having each other’s back on and off the track!!

  • AVAILABILITY:

    • Must be willing and available to travel

    • Must be open to working in remote or regional locations across QLD, NSW, VIC & WA
